Drug and alcohol interventions in the country are varied with basic inputs for counseling treatment and rehabilitation run by 440 centers spread over the country The National Institute of Social Defence has designated 8 Non Governmental Organizations working in the filed of Drug Abuse Prevention as Regional Resource Centres.
