Global Youth Network
The Global Youth Network project is run by UNODC to increase youth involvement with the international community in developing drug abuse prevention policies and programmes. We hope to create a community of interest among youth and youth workers in the field of drug abuse prevention. The network has three main objectives: increase communication between youth groups and UNODC, collect and disseminate information on good practices and build the capacity of youth groups across the world to successfully conceptualise and implement drug abuse prevention projects. Small Grants Support Youth–Led Social Change Projects
Community social–change projects led by people ages 18–29 may apply for $500 grants from YouthActionNet. The YouthActionNet awards, supported by the International Youth Foundation's Make a Connection project and Nokia, seeks youth–led projects with clearly defined goals and potential for growth or replication. In addition to a cash award, winners may take part in an international capacity–building workshop. Application deadline is April 15. For more information, see the YouthActionNet website.
